Kia-ora!!!! My name is Amber. Last week in Te Maunga we learned about collage art. I learnt that when you do collage you have to cut out the colours in magazines and when you have done that you need to glue it on the piece of paper. We did it because we had no internet. We also Mrs. Pou read us a story about the mountain. Did you know that Maunga means Mountain?

Kindness Letter

Kia ora!! My name is Amber. Last week in Te Maunga we wrote a kindness letter  to people who have been on lockdown alone and have no one to talk to. I made some cupcakes and the first try I messed up but the second I didn't.

Last week in Te Maunga We made a presentation about viruses. The virus  reproduces about 6 million viruses.

Water Cycle art-Amber

Last week in Te-Maunga. We wrote about the water cycle and how we get our water. I learnt the 1-4 steps of how people get water. We also did a drawing about the water cycle and we also learnt how to do dark and light highlights. We used up space and pressed lightly with a pencil.

Koru Patterns

We did koru patterns and kowhaiwhai  in Te-Maunga at Paihia School. My art is about my  family like my mum, dad, little brother, and everybody else in my family. I did Air New-Zealand koru because my nana used  to live in Australia. Then I draw my family as koru. It was fun drawing them. Guess what we all got to show our koru in our assembly. Summer learning journey- Pepha

At my school we had Tayla come in she was talking about the summer learning journey. It looks a lot of fun to do it. Some of my friends are doing I am not doing it. It was Thursday  5 of December I did a pepeha I loved doing it. It was fun bye

Kia ora my name is Amber. We have been learning about plants. We did an animation too.I did one about how to grow corn. I learnt how to grow corn it looked really fun. These are one of the things that I learned. That plants need minerals to grow if they don’t have minerals they cant grow. You have to do step by step. You should water it every day. If you grow corn this is how you do it. If you like corn, I do too. Bye nice talking to you.
