Summer learning journey- Pepha

At my school we had Tayla come in she was talking about the summer learning journey. It looks a lot of fun to do it. Some of my friends are doing I am not doing it. It was Thursday  5 of December I did a pepeha I loved doing it. It was fun bye

plant

Kia ora my name is Amber. We have been learning about plants. We did an animation too.I did one about how to grow corn. I learnt how to grow corn it looked really fun. These are one of the things that I learned. That plants need minerals to grow if they don’t have minerals they cant grow. You have to do step by step. You should water it every day. If you grow corn this is how you do it. If you like corn, I do too. Bye nice talking to you.

Healthy cooking

We planted seedlings of carrots, silverbeet, parsley and celery. We made a silverbeet wrap and a lettuce wrap. We put ham, cheese, celery, tomatoes, carrots, mayo. We used all of the fruit and vegetables from our garden my friend Mahana made the idea up for the lettuce wraps. My other friend  Ella made up the silverbeet wrap. We also used cucumber. My group was Tiiria, Ella-Jane, Mahana and I. We had to make a plan it was very fun making the silverbeet wrap and lettuce wraps it tasted delicious. 

Geometry

Kia ora we had to make a Google Drawing for geometry.If you don't know what geometry it is maths for all different kinds of shapes I learnt how to draw heaps of different kinds of shapes.

Kia ora my name is Amber. Today I did a blog about are you in the right place at the right time online? If you are on the wrong thing at the wrong time on your computer or chrome book you might not have your chrome book or computer any more.

Orca

Our T.shaped literacy was about sea life. I learnt that female orcas live up to 29 years and male orcas live up to 17 years. This animation is about orcas.

cross country

On Friday August the 30th I went to my nana’s house  instead of going to cross-country. I didn't go because I stubbed my toe it was too sore to run. Later in the day I went to my aunty’s house.  My cousins were collecting bugs. It was super gross my youngest cousin had a stubbed toe too. 1hour later I went to my nana's house again, her dog went crazy because he hasn't seen me for the rest of the day. I did practise though. I was very sad that I didn’t get to go to cross-country I wish I could run with my friends.
